ProjectArt Hosts 3rd Annual Gala at The Puck Building

Real-Time Masterpiece Will Be Created by ProjectArt Students for Live Auction; CNN anchor Rosa Flores Will Serve as the Gala’s Master of Ceremonies

ProjectArt, an award-winning NYC-based organization providing free arts education to youth, will host its gala on Feb 27th from 7-10 pm, at the Dolce Vita showroom at The Puck Building in SoHo. In addition to a live auction, the event will feature live caricature painting by students, interactive art installations, a wine tasting by City Winery, & food and dessert by Brooklyn Flea/Smorgasburg favorites: Landhaus and Butter & Scotch. Tickets are currently on sale, starting at $100 for individuals as well varying levels of corporate sponsorship. To purchase tickets: http://projectart.org/gala/

The gala’s "Make Your Mark" theme speaks to the organization’s aspirations for the children it serves. ProjectArt was founded to close the gap in access to arts education for youth – in a highly innovative, collaborative and cost-effective way.

The auction will feature one-of-a-kind experiences, to include a private cooking class with chef and chocolatier Jacques Torres; premium Yankee tickets; a private backstage tour of the Metropolitan Opera House; exclusive jewelry from WXYZ Dauphines of NY & Verameat Jewelry, and more.  Last year's event raised more than 1/3 of ProjectArt’s annual budget, and was listed as one of the “top 10 not-to-be-missed” events by Guest of a Guest.  All proceeds from the ProjectArt gala will support the organization’s life-changing programming for young people throughout NYC. The Lead sponsor is The Durst Organization.

Gala Host Committee members include representatives from celebrated art auction houses, galleries, executives from the financial industry, leading public relations firms, among others: Olga Alexakos, (Keller Williams), Leon Benrimon (Benrimon Contemporary), Ted Berger (CUE Art Foundation), Valerie Brown (AllianceBernstein), Helena De Pereda (Firma NYC), Asya Geisberg (Asya Geisberg Gallery), Heidi Hovland (FleishmanHillard), Curtiss Jacobs (AIG), Aditya Julka (Paddle 8), Ambre Kelly (SPRING/BREAK Art Show), Kipton Cronkite (At 60 Inches), Julie Mathew (JP Morgan Chase), Theresa Mullen (Dolce Vita), Randi Norfleet (Parchem), Katelyn Norris (Christie's Auctions), Juliette Premmereur (RH Contemporary), Evelyn Roman (ProjectArt parent), Jacolby Satterwhite (Contemporary Artist), Juliet Silva Yee (Pop Up Art Event), CK Swett (Heritage Auctions), Kiki Valdes (Contemporary Artist) and Seth Zuckerman (Expert CC).
