Annual East End Benefit Auction to Support Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic (PPHP)
On May 25th, hundreds of PPHP supporters will head to Water Mill to bid on more than 50 unique silent auction items – and enjoy the Hamptons party of the year. All proceeds will go to support reproductive health care services. PPHP provides essential health care to women, men and young people regardless of their ability to pay.
The event, which runs from 5-7 pm, at a private home, will feature Cocktails & Hors d’oeuvres. Michael Halsband, Rima Mardoyan & Ann Pogue-Campbell are co-chairing the event, and Dorothy Lichtenstein is honorary chair.
Where can you bid on an exquisite art work, exotic car driving experience, the chance to watch an NFL game at home with Giants player Tiki Barber, or a private tour of Kentucky Bourbon Country? The auction will feature works by leading East End artists – among them a signed Polaroid self-portrait by Chuck Close. Attendees can also bid on tickets to the ballet or the Hampton Classic Horse Show, an organic produce share, a boat tour of Peconic Bay, stand-up paddleboard lessons, jewelry, an evening chef tasting, a weekend in Sag Harbor, rounds of golf, and massage sessions.
Tickets are $300 per person; $150 for anyone under age 35 and sponsorships are available. To purchase tickets and read about the silent auction items: www.pphp.org or contact Jenifer Van Deinse at (631) 240-1128 or Jenifer.vandeinse@pphp.org for information or tickets. www.pphp.org
