THIRD ANNUAL PET HERO AWARDS! To benefit: PET PHILANTHROPY CIRCLE

On Sat, Aug 23rd, Jewel & Robert Morris will open the gates to their magnificent HOBBY HILL ESTATE to some of the most renowned names in the pet world for the Third Annual "PET HERO AWARDS." Beginning with Drinks and "Bites" the guests will be treated to top shelf open bar and food prepared by Janet O'Brien Caterers. A silent auction with something to please everyone will take place during that time, as well. 5:00-7:30 pm. Hobby Hill Estate - Water Mill.

As attendees are asked to take their seats around the pool, honorees will be seated on the beautiful brick pagoda stage that overlooks the rolling acres of HOBBY HILL. Floral designer, Mark Massone, will be providing decor from his company, Flowers by Topaz, as will Felicia Greenberg with Table Art and Event Designs. Some of the honorees to receive awards that evening include Prince Lorenzo Borghese, Humanitarian of the Year, Jean Shafiroff, Outstanding Volunteer of the Year, Amanda Hearst, Founder and Chairwoman of Friends of Finn, Georgina Bloomberg, Friends of Finn committee member, Andy Sabin, Outstanding Pet Philanthropist of the Year, William Berloni, Dog Trainer of the Year, (trainer of Sandy of the Broadway show ANNIE and first person to win a Tony award in the animal trainer category), Dr. David T. Crouch, DVM, Outstanding Veterinarian of the Year, Best Friends Animal Society of Utah, Outstanding Animal Welfare organization of the year, pioneers of the NO-KILL movement, celebrating their 30th Anniversary, Pet Haven Rescue, a cage free rescue sanctuary, Angel On A Leash – Southampton Hospital, Special Achievement Award, and Brittany and Ariel Lavalle, Outstanding Juniors for their contributions to Last Chance Animal Rescue. The mission of The Pet Philanthropy Circle to save and enhance the quality of animal lives by promoting greater public awareness of their welfare and the causes that protect them. PPC does this through educational programs and by raising funds for qualified animal rescue organizations and individuals at the annual Pet Philanthropy Awards event.
