you choose to take to Pikey Peak Trek will provide stunning views of the Numbur Himal, Mt. Everest, and other high peaks. Route and Itinerary

Pikey Peak trek can be reached via a number of alternative routes, as well as local people's pathways in the lower Khumbu region. Depending on your plans, the typical lengths (beginning and ending in Kathmandu) range from 5 to 7 days. We can design a nice custom trip for you based on the amount of time you have. If you have limited time and are physically fit, we can design a 4-5 day itinerary for you; however, a
more relaxing trip of 6-7 days allows you to hike without much physical demand and trek without stress while taking in some of the best scenery by adding some spare days on the Pikey Peak trek with a good,
well-planned itinerary that allows you to walk at your own pace and enjoy the holiday with peace and no rush.

How to get there?

You can get there in three different ways. 1) A 30-minute flight from Kathmandu to Phaplu is the first leg of this Pikey Peak trip. 2) From Kathmandu to Dhap or Salleri, take a private or shared local jeep, which
typically takes 8 to 10 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions. 3) After reaching Bhandar, continue on the traditional Jiri Everest Base Camp Trekking path to Pikey Peak via Namkheli and Gola.

Best time to trek

Pikey Peak Trek is better in the fall and spring, as well as the winter due to its lower altitude, just like most trekking in Nepal. The area can get very damp during the monsoon and leeches may be active, it is
advised to avoid doing this trip during that time.

Flight or Drive?

It is advisable to fly both ways, which costs USD 308 per head roundtrip, if time does not permit a long ride or if you wish to choose a shorter route. If you have more time and want to save money, you can
use a bus or jeep to get to Dhap. It is a very gorgeous drive that lasts for around 7-8 hours, but be aware that driving is the most "adventurous" choice because Nepal's roads are poorly maintained, rather
bumpy, and lacking in services.

Cost of Pikey Peak Trek

The cost of the trekking package varies depending on your mode of transportation, but is typically between USD 550 and USD 590 for a 7-day program based on two individuals sharing. 7-Day Detailed itinerary:
