The City of Setúbal will have another amazing event from 14th to 22nd May. The city will celebrate the arrival of the Vasco da Gama Armada to Celecute. Lots of activities during this 8 days in the city, we will describe some of the activities organized by Setúbal Municipality.
Casa da Baía will have an exposition of Portuguese Navy activities, where it will be possible to know more about operational, cultural and scientific areas of the institution.
Largo José Afonso, will have a fun place where it will be possible interect will military life in the Navy and the opportunity to fly a Lynx helicopter and command a ship. (Dont get a heart attack, it will through a simulator, but still realistic).
The Portuguese Navy ships will be in the port of Setúbal and it will be possible to visit. It will be also possible to sail on a fast boat, generally used for inspection on the Atlantic Coast.
On Auditório José Afonso, on May 20th will act the Portuguese Navy band . On May 22nd , Setúbal will have a Military ceremony, a Church event of suffrage of the Military , a skill demonstration at Sado River and a Marine Parade with several boats.
