Practical Matters
Mykonos is hot during summer, so definitely light-color, comfortable clothes are a necessity - as are sunglasses! Low-heel shoes are recommended for long walks, and you'll want not to forget your swimsuit - and if you're a nightlife fan, a fabulous outfit or two for the clubs.
There is bus service on the island, but the best and most comfortable way to get around is via motor scooter. Many of the island hotels offer free transportation back and forth to Chora as well as certain beaches. The option of a rental car is also available.
