Agra Fort is additionally referred to as “Red Fort of Agra” and has been declared as UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is a vital Fort in Indian history as several Mughal rulers like Babur, Humayun, Akbar and few others ruled from here so the planning and structure of this Fort could be a typical example of Mughal design. Day 4 : Jaipur Full-day Sightseeing
Breakfast at the hotel. Later on begin the sightseeing tour of Jaipur with visit to Amber Fort. It’s the most distinguished forts that have a mode of each Hindu and Muslim components. There are four main courtyards in this fort specifically Hall of Public (Diwan-i-Am), Hall of Victory (Jai Mandir), Hall of Joy (SukhNiwas), Women’s quarters (The Zenana). Another attraction of Amber Fort is the Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace).
Amber Fort was one of the most powerful forts in ancient India, and is one of very few forts that were never conquered by any ruler.
Proceed to go to City Palace. Like different Forts and Palaces of Jaipur, this palace too contains a mix of Rajasthani and Mughal design. PrinceSawai Jai SinghII initiated the development of this palace between 1729 and 1732. City Palace was the seat of the prince.
Afterwards, visit Jantar Mantar, a solar observatory and the largest of its kinds. The observatory has handful of instruments used to calculate the positions of stars. Sun Dial is the largest instrument of its kind in the world.
After that visit Hawa Mahal, splendidly called the Palace of Winds. The palace is built in the form of the crown of Lord Krishna. During the hot summers in Rajasthan, the royal ladies used to sit in this palace to see the proceedings in the town. Since this palace has 953 windows that allow cool breeze to pass by, it’s fondly called Hawa Mahal.
Later, return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 5 : Jaipur - Delhi (250 Km)
