Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi, the starting point of the trek.

Day 2: Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel (2,380 meters/7,808 feet)

Trek through forests and along the Langtang River to reach Lama Hotel.

Day 3: Lama Hotel to Langtang Village (3,430 meters/11,253 feet)

Continue through the forest and climb gradually to reach Langtang Village.

Day 4: Langtang Village to Kyanjin Gompa (3,870 meters/12,696 feet)

Trek through yak pastures and arrive at Kyanjin Gompa, a Buddhist monastery.

Day 5: Kyanjin Gompa - Exploration Day

Acclimatization day, with an option to hike to Tserko Ri (4,984 meters/16,348 feet).

Day 6: Kyanjin Gompa to Lama Hotel (2,380 meters/7,808 feet)

Descend back to Lama Hotel, retracing your steps.

Day 7: Lama Hotel to Syabrubesi (1,550 meters/5,085 feet)

Return to Syabrubesi, the trail's end.

Day 8: Syabrubesi to Kathmandu

Drive back to Kathmandu.
