This quiet temple sits inside a natural cave, just 3 kilometers from Pithoragarh town. It is placed gently on a hill above Soar Valley and is known for its deep spiritual feel. This Pithoragarh temple is named after Sage Kapil Muni, who is believed to have meditated here.
You need to climb more than 200 steps to reach this place. But the view along the way makes the walk feel light. Once you step inside the cool dark cave, everything becomes still. The main naturally formed Shiva Linga, and the shapes on the wall look like different Gods.
