Life is moving fast lately. I can't believe it's been years since I stopped contributing to Indianapolis Star but those days have been etched dearly into my heart. I explored a lot and did some major work on finessing my skills. Though, I wasn’t very much inclined towards that, I just loved cooking and finding about new ways to recreate a recipe. All in all, it was a fun experience and you can find everything about it and the recipes on SolidGoldEats.
One of my favorites is the German potato salad, which was really applauded by a lot of people. This dish from Southern Germany has its own delights and a lot of healthy ingredients. You can also serve this warm or even cold.
Ingredients
- Potato salad- 15 oz.
- Olive oil- 1 tablespoon
- Chopped onion- 1
- Minced garlic clove- 1
- Chopped red/green bell pepper
- Red pepper- ½ teaspoon
- Chopped parsley- 1 tablespoon
- Salt
Directions
- Take a non-stick skillet and heat over medium heat.
- Heat the olive oil, then add chopped onion, peppers, and garlic.
- Let this sauté for about 10 minutes. You will see that the onions have become transparent and tender.
- Now you can throw in the potato salad and red pepper and mix them well with the ingredients in the skillet.
- Cook for 1-2 minutes, and when it’s ready, add some salt according to your taste and parsley to garnish.
- You can also toss some smoked sausages to make it a main dish.
