We all know Harry and David for their delicious gourmet savories but did you know they're planning to produce their own wine? That’s right, this month the iconic purveyor of vaunted gustatory delights opened their own Oregon winery and now offers seasonal lineups throughout the year.
Partnering with winemaker Linda Donovan of Pallet Wine Company, Harry & David now features 9 different varietals, all made with signature Oregon grapes. Their collection includes five charming red wines: Tempranillo, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Merlot, and Royal Crest Red, along with four elegant white wines: Viognier, Sauvignon Blanc, Gewürtztraminer, and Chardonnay.
“We expect this new venture will not only benefit the local wine community of Southern Oregon, but will also build awareness of southern Oregon as a travel destination for wine connoisseurs,” says Craig Johnson, CEO of Harry & David. I personally look forward to spreading the word about this region's unique wine culture!
Although Harry and David is now restricted to only selling from their physical locations at the Country Village store located at 1314 Center Drive, Medford, OR, and the Woodburn store located at 1001 Arney Road, Woodburn, OR, they are hammering out the permits necessary for online ordering and shipping. Stay tuned!
