Activities
During the off-ski season, when the mountains are covered in lush greenery, guests can enjoy full-scale mountain climbing in the Northern Alps.
Using the gondola lift, guests can trek or just meander to the Mysterious Happo Pond, reflecting the magnificent mountain range. There is also downhill mountain biking, kayaking on the lake, standup paddle boarding, rafting, and even hot air ballooning!
An open-air viewing platform on the ski slopes brings you up-close to carpets of breathtaking off-season alpine flora. 
You can also view the dramatic Northern Alps while relaxing in a stylish cafe or taking a nap in an outdoor hammock. 
In winter, guests from across the globe enjoy the rich, powder-snow on the expansive grand slopes within a 20-minute drive. 
Bus service is also available from in front of the hotel to take you to see the famous snow monkeys of Shiga Kogen.
