In addition to Golf Tours Abroad’s first Sri Lanka golf package (Intro), our second golf holiday encompasses a ‘from the mountains to the sea’ approach - only in reverse! The Sri Lanka Scenic golf holiday begins in Colombo and then tracks south along the western coastline as far as Hambantota, before it changes to a northerly course bound for Kandy.

The Sri Lanka Scenic golf holiday begins in Colombo for the first 2 nights. You’ll play a round at the 130 year old Royal Colombo Golf Club and enjoy shopping and a city tour to see Colombo Museum, Independence Square & Gangaramaya Temple. Next you’ll travel south to the seaside region of Bentota for a relaxing overnight stay. On the way to Hambantota, you’ll visit Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery and have a complimentary lunch at Mirissa Beach. After lunch you will continue on to the 5-Star Shangri-la Resort & Spa which will be your home for the next 2 nights. During your stay you’ll check out the wonderful facilities of the luxury seaside resort and play a round at its marvellous course. Whilst in Hambantota, you’ll go on a wildlife safari to Yala National Park to see leopards, elephants and many other wonderful species. Next you’ll venture to Kandy for 2 nights to discover a picturesque region of mountains & rivers.

Whilst in Kandy you’ll visit Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic; a Cultural Show and a City Tour with shopping time. You’ll also play 1 round at Victoria Golf & Country Resort which is nestled against the Knuckles mountain range and the beautiful Victoria Reservoir. Depart Kandy on the final day and head for the airport in Colombo. Time permitting, there’s a visit to a Spice Garden in Mawanella along the route prior to reaching Colombo for your outbound flight.
