The Everest Day Helicopter Tour is one of the best and most popular tours we have to offer. However, without breakfast on top of the world, your dream is not complete.
After takeoff at 7 am, we fly along with the Himalayan range. You will see those magnificent mountains close up; the flight will end at the Everest Base Camp by the Hotel Everest View.
On the way there we will stop at Lukla to refuel. Lukla is known as the gateway to Everest and has its own airport. From here we will continue our journey toward the tallest and most famous mountains of the world.
Before we arrive at the Mt Everest base camp, we will have a layover in Pheriche, and from here it goes straight to Kalapathar.
Please note: All our helicopters are equipped with oxygen cylinders for each customer as it is required when flying over a height of 5000 m. Without that, Mt Everest could quickly become your greatest and potentially life-threatening challenge yet. On each helicopter, we also have a medically trained guide, which is equipped to help should you experience any difficulties regarding oxygen.
Once in Kalapathar, getting off the helicopter, is a unique experience. You will be taken by the beauty of Mt Everest, which only seems to be a stone's throw away. Other mountains you get to see are Pumori, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Kongde, and Gaurishanker; only to mention just a few.
