Itinerary:

Day 1: Lukla (2,860m/9,383ft)

Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla, trek to Phakding.

Day 2: Phakding (2,610m/8,563ft) to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,286ft)

Cross suspension bridges, ascend through pine forests to Namche Bazaar.

Day 3: Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar

Optional hike to Everest View Hotel for panoramic views.

Day 4: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,870m/12,694ft)

Descend to the Dudh Kosi River, then ascend through rhododendron forests to Tengboche.

Day 5: Tengboche to Dingboche (4,360m/14,304ft)

Descend through forests, cross the Imja River, and trek to Dingboche.

Day 6: Acclimatization Day in Dingboche

Optional hike to Nagarjun Hill for acclimatization.

Day 7: Dingboche to Lobuche (4,940m/16,207ft)

Ascend through the Khumbu Khola valley to Lobuche.

Day 8: Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5,160m/16,929ft) to Everest Base Camp (5,364m/17,598ft)

Day 9: Kala Patthar (5,545m/18,192ft) and Pheriche (4,280m/14,042ft)

Early morning hike to Kala Patthar for sunrise views. Descend to Pheriche.

Day 10: Pheriche to Namche Bazaar

Descend through Pangboche and Tengboche to Namche Bazaar.

Day 11: Namche Bazaar to Lukla

Descend from Namche Bazaar to Lukla.

Day 12: Lukla to Kathmandu
