Accomodation and Permits:

Accommodation during the Everest Base Camp trek typically involves staying in tea houses or lodges along the trail. These are basic but comfortable guesthouses that provide meals and a place to sleep. Here's a general overview:

Tea Houses/Lodges: Found in most villages along the trekking route, these offer a range of services from dormitory-style rooms to private rooms. They usually provide blankets, but it's advisable to bring a sleeping bag.

Permits:

Sagarmatha National Park Permit: This permit is required for entering the Sagarmatha National Park, where Everest is located.

Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality Permit: This permit is necessary for trekking in the Khumbu region.
Both permits are obtainable in Kathmandu or Lukla and require the necessary fees and passport-sized photos.

It's crucial to check the latest regulations and requirements, as they can change. Additionally, it's recommended to have a guide and/or porter for safety and support during the trek. They can help with navigation, language barriers, and carrying a portion of your load, allowing you to fully enjoy the trek.
