Ready for spring, Disneyland Resort is ready to go with 5 weeks of food, drink and culinary special events. The magic will appear in California Adventure Park with chefs, culinary demonstrations and beverage and lifestyle seminars adding even more to the guests’ interactive experiences.
Celebrity chefs Guy Fieri and Graham Elliot are just a few of the well-known chefs who will be on stage 17 showing cooking techniques, sharing delicious tastings and handing out recipes. Guests will be more confident about cooking after watching these engaging chefs and prepared to try new recipes at home.
It’s been a few years since the food and wine festival was held and now it has expanded with many exciting choices. During April and the first of May, well-orchestrated events have been planned with everything the guests could want. The Sip and Savory with Culinary Stars has limited space and is an additional cost of $99 per person. Seeing the celebrity chefs close up will be quite a treat and annual passport guests might want to book the VIP Experience. More VIP information is available on-line or by calling 714-781-DINE. And how about celebrating the craft of cocktails, wines and beers in the Sonoma Terrace for $15 a person provided by the leaders in the their industry. Reservations are advised.
Disneyland Resort Executive Chef John State took time from his busy schedule to share with me that the Taste of the State will emphasize the diverse regions of California with authentic foods found in the Market Place. Pork belly bao tacos, triple cheese mac n cheese, grilled beef sliders and accompanying drinks and desserts are just a few of the regional selections. Picture walking through the park carrying an LA Style Anaheim chile and roasted cauliflower burrito from the Taste of the State and guests want to know where they can get one, too.
Chef State assured me the old time favorites of the turkey legs and Monte Cristo sandwich served in the Blue Bayou will be available as always (call ahead and make reservations for the Blue Bayou at 714.781.DINE)
The festival is not limited to just food and wine. Gardeners, artists, photographers and wellness experts will offer enlightening seminars as well.
Bringing these fun and attention-grabbing seminars to the park will provide a broader range of entertainment for the guests and make lasting memories. And when friends and neighbors talk about their recent Disneyland experience, it most likely will include the food and wine experiences, giving another reason to plan a visit soon.
