If you have a full day in Kathmandu and are interested to do one day hike around. The Champadevi day hike will be the perfect one. This hike takes you to complete nature and escape from the noise of the city and makes your mind fresh. Champadevi Day hiking is one of the very beautiful and easy days of hiking in Nepal, which is near Kathmandu. This day of hiking starts in the morning after having breakfast at your hotel.  To start this hiking, you drive about an hour to the south of Kathmandu. The route of driving is also picturesque. The renowned Chobhar Gorge is one of the attractions that carry the wonderful history of the Kathmandu valley. Taudaha is another awesome place that offers a unique experience with nature which is completely different from spending days in Kathmandu.

Reaching Pharping, your hike to Champadevi Hill begins.  A beautiful monastery lies beside it. The Champadevi hiking trail is exciting that goes through the pine forest. Ascending further, you reach the Hattiban resort. It is also a popular site for the picnic. From there, it’s about an hour of continual walking up to reach the Champadevi hill. It is a top ridge of the Kathmandu Valley, which is located at 2285 meters. For Hindu and Buddhist devotees, Champadevi Hill is also a pilgrimage destination. The Himalayan sceneries of Ganesh Himal, Langtang, and Gaurishankar ranges are outstanding. The sound of birds is like singing from heaven and some other wildlife will be welcoming and clapping to your hike.  Along with the spectacular view of the mountain, hills, and Kathmandu Valley, you have multiple ways to hike down, so you can choose whichever suits you. Then drive back to Kathmandu.
