One of the beautiful sights of Meghalaya is Mawsynram, which is situated at a distance of 56 km from Shillong. Its cave is about one km north of Mawsynram village.
This cave is famous for the huge peaks made of stalagmite i.e. limestone. Their height is up to 25.30 feet. These peaks look like Shivling. Another name of this cave is also Maviyambuin.
The top of the giant rock present here can be reached. But it requires tracking experience. As soon as you stand on the peak, you can get a panoramic view of the place.

Nearby there is a huge rock of geological importance close to the village of Viloi.
It is one and a half km from the cave on Ranikor Balat Mawsinram Shillong Highway. Its top is flat. Its shape gives the feel of a dome and it also looks like pavarotti.

Krem Dam Cave
