ARRIVE DELHI
DELHI
In the morning, take a sightseeing tour of Delhi. Visit Raj Ghat (the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi) and Shanti Vana (the cremation site of Jawaharlal Nehru), Jama Masjid and drive past the Red Fort and the Chandni Chowk.
In the afternoon visit Qutub Minar (built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199), Humayun’s Tomb, India Gate (War Memorial Arch) and Lakshminarayan Temple (a modern Hindu Temple). Also drive past President’s House, Parliament House, Government Secretariat Buildings and Connaught Place shopping centre. Stay overnight at the hotel.
DELHI – AMRITSAR (BY TRAIN))
In the afternoon visit Indo-Pak Wagah Border to watch Flag Retreat Ceremony – Wagah, an army outpost on Indo-Pak border 30 Kms from Amritsar where the daily highlight is the evening “Beating the Retreat” ceremony. Soldiers from both countries march in perfect drill, going through the steps of bringing down their respective national flags. As the sun goes down, nationalistic fervour rises and lights are switched on marking the end of the day amidst thunderous applause. Return to hotel. Overnight stay.
AMRITSAR – DELHI
Later in the afternoon transfer to the railway station to board the train for Delhi. Upon arrival meet with our representative and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
DELHI – JAIPUR
Jaipur is also known as the Pink City. It is the capital of Rajasthan, which is famous for its majestic forts, opulent havelis, beautiful lakes and sand dunes. The history of Jaipur takes us about 300 years back in time, when the Mughal Empire in India was on its decline. Stay overnight at the hotel.
JAIPUR
In the morning visit the Amber Fort. Amber Fort was the capital of this state long time ago. Visit the Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory glittering with mirrors. Ascend the Fort in open jeep.
In the afternoon, take sightseeing tour of Jaipur. Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan. It was painted in pink colour a century ago in honour of a visiting prince. Ever since, Jaipur has retained this pink colour. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh, a notable astronomer, this city is 260 years old. While in Jaipur, visit Maharaja’s City Palace, the Observatory and Ram Niwas Gardens. Drive past the Hawa Mahal. Stay overnight at the hotel.
JAIPUR – AGRA
After breakfast drive to Agra. En route Agra, visit the Fatehpur Sikri. The Fatehpur Sikri was built during 1571 and 1585. It is one of the finest examples of Mughal architectural splendour at its height. Though the city is in ruins now, it is a must visit place for all those who visit Agra. Fatehpur Sikri is a place where one should spend some quality time. The sunset over the ruins is a sight to cherish.
AGRA
Then visit the Agra fort. Built originally as a military establishment by Akbar in 1565, this red sandstone building was partially converted into a palace during the time of Shah Jahan. In the afternoon visit Itmad-ud-daulah. This tomb belongs to the father of Nur Jahan, Ghias-ud-Din Beg. He was the Wajir (Chief Minister) of Emperor Jehangir. This white marble tomb was built by Nur Jahan between 1622 and 1628. In the evening check into a hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel.
AGRA – JHANSI – KHAJURAHO
After breakfast leave for the railway station to catch a train to Jhansi. Meet our representative at Jhansi Railway station and drive straight to Khajuraho, en route stopover at Orchha.
“Orchha”, meaning “hidden” was the hallmark of Bundela dynasty. The origin of Bundelas goes back to the 11th century. It is believed that it was founded by a Rajput prince who offered himself in sacrifice to the mountain goddess, Vindhyavasini. The goddess stopped the prince from sacrificing and named him Bundela (meaning the one who offered blood). The Bundelas ruled over this area between the river Yamuna and Narmada.
KHAJURAHO – VARANASI
After breakfast we take you for sightseeing tour of Khajuraho temples. The trip is to the Eastern Group of Khajuraho temples. Morning begins on a celestial note as we shall traverse you to the mystic galleries of the fascinating temples of Khajuraho. The bold artistic statement of erotic sculptures and the splendidly structured monuments will surely leave eternal imprints on your heart.
In the afternoon leave for the airport to catch a flight for Varanasi. Meet our representatives at Varanasi Airport. Check into a hotel. Our representative assists you in your check in process at the hotel. In the evening visit Aarti darshan at river ghat. Stay overnight at the hotel.
VARANASI
In the morning take a boat cruise at river Ganges to observe the life of pilgrims who pray by the Ghats of Varanasi. Next go for an excursion to Sarnath, located 10 Km East of Varanasi. It is one of the major Buddhist centres of India. After attaining enlightenment, the Buddha came to Sarnath where he gave his first sermon.

Morning after breakfast transfer to the airport to board the flight for Delhi. Upon arrival meet with our representative and transfer to the hotel. Stay overnight at hotel.
