Annapurna is a famous and most visited trekking destination in Nepal. More than 50percent of trekkers travel every year. From Annapurna Base Camp, you stand witness to mountains like Hiunchuli (6,441m), Annapurna (8,091m), Gangapurna (7,455m), Machhapuchhare (6,993m) and others.

Now lets break down the cost

I assume that you are already in Nepal so no International Flight cost Included and your personal trekking gears are also not included. You can also have a rental trekking gears here in Kathmandu, Pokhara or you can ask your trekking agencies.

1. Permit

Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP) permit fee for foreigners: 3,000 NPR (Approx. US $30)

Trekkers’ Information Management System (TIMS) permit: 1,000 NPR (Approx. US $10)

Permits and TIMS cards can be purchased in the Nepal Tourism Board Office on Pradarshani Marg, Kathmandu. Permits can also be purchased in Pokhara at the Nepal Tourism Board Service Center in Damside or at the ACAP entry permit counter in Besisahar, Lamjung. TIMS cards can also be purchased from the TAAN Lakeside office in Santi Patan, Pokhara.

2. Travel cost in Route

Price Ranges from 900–2000 USD according to your accommodation and means of transport.

Flight Cost (Kathmandu to Pokhara) — $240 (2 ways — price may differ)

Bus Cost (Kathmandu to Pokhara) — $08-$20 (depends on the way of transport — local bus)

Hotel Cost in Pokhara — $20 — $40

Drive to Nayapul — $04–$10 (depends on the way of transport)

Private transportation will cost higher

Food (B/L/D) — $10–$40 per day (Please ask for menu)

The accommodation in the Himalayas will normally cost low in Annapurna Region — $04–$10 in sharing basis — for single room cost will be higher

Charging Mobile Phones / Drinking Mineral water — may cost around $10–$30 in the entire trip

Choice -:

Hire Guide: Normally 20–30 USD per day

Porters cum guides come at a daily price of 25USD

Porters: 15–20 USD per day

Notes: The price may differ

Trekking during the peak seasons; Autumn (Sep-Oct-Nov) and Spring (March-April-May) will be slightly costlier than Off Season. If you’re trekking in off trekking seasons, a price can drop significantly.
