Taj Mahal, the monument of immeasurable beauty is one of the modern Seven Wonders of the World. It the ultimate masterpiece and considered the finest example of Mughal architecture. A shadowy burial tomb inside the Taj Mahal houses the tombs of Shah Jahan and his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Above these tombs is the main chamber that has the false tombs, typical of mausoleums of the Mughals. The elaborated architectural design, amusing sculptural works narrates the undoubtedly best tale of everlasting love. The main gateway is situated at the end of the long watercourse. The Naqqar Khana and the Masjid are built on the sides of the Taj to maintain its symmetry. The amazing calligraphy of verses from Quran is embedded in Arabic on the borders of the main gateway. Disheveled flowers, red lotus, and leaves adore the sloping side of the niche formed by semi-precious marble. And the white tear drop with a red trident at the entry of Taj Mahal makes it appear more dazzling.

It is more than 350 years since Taj Mahal was built in Agra, but the purity of the white marble hasn’t faded yet. Taj reflects different hues with respect to sunlight from yellow in the mornings to sparkling white in the day and a light pink in the twilight dust.
