Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour (Weight Limit)
The helicopters used in Everest Heli Tour have a maximum capacity of 500kgs and can accommodate up to 5 people excluding the pilot. For a headcount of 3 or below 3, the helicopter will take off from Lukla directly towards the Everest Base Camp. As the altitude on the helicopter tour exceeds 4,000 m, the maximum weight of the helicopter changes to 250 kg on average. To adapt the weight on the helicopter to the increasing altitude for headcount sizes exceeding 3, the Helicopter will first land at Pheriche where we will manage the weight for a single shuttle flight before heading towards the Everest Base Camp.

While the tour is operated around the year, certain months are preferred for their scenic display of the Himalayas and the Everest region.
