3-Day Shimla Weekend Trip from Delhi by Urbania Tempo Traveller

A short weekend getaway is a great way to take a break from the busy routine of Delhi. Recently, we planned a 3-day trip from Delhi to Shimla with our family and friends. We wanted the journey to be comfortable and enjoyable, so we decided to rent an Urbania Tempo Traveller on hire in Delhi. Travelling together in one spacious vehicle made the road trip more relaxing and allowed us to enjoy every moment without worrying about driving, parking or managing multiple cars.

Day 1: Delhi to Shimla Road Journey

We started our journey from Delhi early in the morning. Everyone was excited about the trip, and the comfortable seating in our Urbania Tempo Traveller made the long journey enjoyable. We carried our luggage, snacks and some music for the road.

The route took us through Panipat, Karnal, Chandigarh and Kalka before we continued towards the hills. As we moved closer to Shimla, the landscape gradually changed from busy highways to green valleys and winding mountain roads. The cool breeze and beautiful views made us feel that our holiday had truly started.

We stopped on the way for breakfast and tea and continued our journey towards Shimla. After reaching the city, we checked into our hotel. The hotel had a comfortable room, clean surroundings and a pleasant mountain atmosphere. After resting for some time, we went out for an evening walk around Mall Road and The Ridge.

The evening atmosphere in Shimla was wonderful. We explored the local shops, clicked photographs and enjoyed hot tea and snacks. After dinner, we returned to the hotel and relaxed for the night.

Day 2: Shimla Sightseeing, Food and Local Experiences

The second day was dedicated to Shimla sightseeing. After having breakfast at our hotel, we started exploring some of the popular attractions around the city.

Our sightseeing included The Ridge, Mall Road, Christ Church and Jakhoo Temple. We also enjoyed the beautiful mountain views and spent time taking photographs. Jakhoo Temple is located on Jakhoo Hill, one of the prominent points around Shimla, and the area provides scenic views of the surrounding hills.

After sightseeing, we stopped for lunch and enjoyed a warm meal in the pleasant mountain weather. During our trip, we tried several types of food, including North Indian dishes, snacks, hot tea and local-style preparations. Eating hot food while enjoying the cool Shimla weather was one of the highlights of our trip.

In the evening, we returned to Mall Road. We spent time shopping for souvenirs, walking through the busy market and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. Later, we had dinner at a nearby restaurant before returning to our hotel.

Day 3: Enjoying Shimla Before Returning to Delhi

On the third morning, we had breakfast at the hotel and prepared for our return journey. Before leaving Shimla, we spent some time enjoying the mountain views and taking our final photographs.

Our Urbania on hire in Delhi made the return journey convenient because our entire group could travel together. We did not have to manage multiple vehicles, and everyone could relax during the long drive back to Delhi.

As we travelled downhill, we talked about our favourite memories from the trip. The beautiful mountain roads, comfortable hotel stay, delicious food, sightseeing and time spent together made this short holiday special.

Conclusion

Our 3-day Delhi to Shimla weekend trip was a wonderful break from our daily routine. Hiring an Urbania Tempo Traveller in Delhi for an outstation trip to Shimla made the journey comfortable, convenient and enjoyable for our group.

From the road journey and hotel stay to sightseeing, shopping and mountain food, every part of the trip gave us memorable moments. For families, friends and groups planning a Delhi to Shimla trip by Tempo Traveller, travelling together in an Urbania can make the journey more enjoyable and hassle-free.
