The helicopter changes suttle in Pheriche during the Everest base camp helicopter tour because it can not land and take off at Kalapatthar full of travelers. The base camp trekkers spend one night here after they visit the base camp and Kalapatthar on their way back. The Everest base camp Gokyo lakes trekkers and Everest high passes trekkers don't even visit this place, but they walk close to this valley.
