Nine story palace in Kathmandu Durbar square had made by King Prithvi Narayan Shah in the 18th century. You can see well-carved windows and more on this building during the Kathmandu day tour. There are also lots of fine architecture in the Patan and Bhaktapur palaces. There are three ancient royal palaces in Kathmandu valley, and all of them are UNESCO world heritage sites.
