Do not judge their height seeing taller or shorter. The short-looking one is even more than a thousand meters taller than the taller-looking one, but the fishtail is the most beautiful and virgin mountain in the Annapurna Himalayas. You can see Mt.Fishtail most of the time during all Annapurna treks like Pon hill, Annapurna base camp, and others. The Mardi Himal trail brings you very close to this mountain. You walk behind these mountains while trekking on the Annapurna circuit trail.
