Kala Bhairava

The Hindu god Kala Bhairava in Kathmandu Durbar Square was found inside the forests in the north of Kathmandu valley in the 17th century. It is known as the God of death, who kills the demons to protect. Hindu people pray to this god to avoid all bad things in life and win any diseases. You can see this huge stone statue (made of one single rock) during the Kathmandu day tour.
