The guests at Chabil Mar Villas in Placencia, Belize begin their journey from our marina and travel by panga boat to Monkey River Town, located at the mouth of the Monkey River and the Caribbean Sea. From there they travel west up the river to view the infamous Howler Monkeys in their naturat habitat. Along the way they view crocodile sunning on the edge of the river, many bats, exotic birds and viewing beautiful jungle river scenery. Upon returning to Monkey Rive Town, they enjoy a local lunch. From here the return to Placencia begins with a stopover to view the area of the manatees home.
