Everest Base Camp Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)

  • Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel.
  • Briefing on the trek ahead.

Day 2: Flight to Lukla, Trek to Phakding (2,651m)

  • Fly to Lukla (2,840m), start trek to Phakding.
  • Altitude gain: Lukla (2,840m), Phakding (2,651m).

Day 3: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m)

  • Cross suspension bridges, ascend to Namche Bazaar.
  • Altitude gain: Namche Bazaar (3,440m).

Day 4: Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar

  • Explore Namche Bazaar.
  • Optional hike to Everest View Hotel.
  • Altitude gain: Namche Bazaar (3,440m).

Day 5: Trek to Tengboche (3,860m)

  • Pass through rhododendron forests, reach Tengboche.
  • Visit the famous Tengboche Monastery.
  • Altitude gain: Tengboche (3,860m).

Day 6: Trek to Dingboche (4,410m)

  • Descend to the Imja River, climb to Dingboche.
  • Altitude gain: Dingboche (4,410m).

Day 7: Acclimatization Day in Dingboche

  • Short hike for acclimatization.

Day 8: Trek to Lobuche (4,910m)

  • Continue trekking towards Lobuche.

Day 9: Trek to Gorak Shep (5,164m), Visit Everest Base Camp (5,364m)

  • Reach Gorak Shep, then trek to Everest Base Camp.
  • Return to Gorak Shep for the night.

Day 10: Hike to Kala Patthar (5,545m), Descend to Pheriche (4,371m)

  • Early morning ascent to Kala Patthar for sunrise views.
  • Descend to Pheriche.

Day 11: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m)

  • Descend to Namche Bazaar.
  • Altitude loss: Namche Bazaar (3,440m).

Day 12: Trek to Lukla (2,840m), Flight to Kathmandu

  • Descend to Lukla, concluding the trek.
  • Fly back to Kathmandu.
