I´ve always been a fan of these "skansens," which are outdoor collections of traditional architecture which are a particular specialty of Scandinavia. The Fielandsmuseet on Copenhagen´s northern outskirts is a great example, founded way back in 1897 and now comprising 99 acres with more than a hundred structures from 1650 to 1950, hauled in from all over the country.
