If you are planning for the Ujjain Mahakal Darshan Yatra, VIP darshan booking at the Mahakaleshwar Temple is easier and time-saving. You can book your Mahakaleshwar Temple VIP darshan tickets online through the official website.

Timings for VIP darshan generally run between 6 AM and 9 PM, but if you are planning to attend the Bhasma Aarti, remember it happens before sunrise, and tickets for that sell out fast, sometimes weeks in advance. Each person, including children, needs a separate ticket, and there’s a strict dress code: men often have to wear dhotis (especially for Bhasma Aarti), and women are expected to wear traditional attire.
There is a dedicated VIP entry gate, which does not mean that you are special, but it is facilitated for needy people who are short on time or not able to stand in long queues.

Key Points:
Photography is not allowed inside the sanctum.
You must show the ticket printout and your ID at the entrance.
Tickets are non-refundable, so finalise your travel plans before booking.

This option is perfect if you are short on time or travelling with elders. You can find all the details, step-by-step booking help, and tips in my full blog:

Tempo Travellers are one of the most comfortable and convenient vehicles for group travel, whether you are planning a local trip or an outstation journey. However, when you search online for Tempo Traveller booking prices, you’ll often find varying rates. This is because some rental companies provide an all-inclusive cost, while others follow a per-kilometer pricing model.

The overall rental fare for a Tempo Traveller is influenced by several factors, including:

  • Fuel charges

  • Driver allowance

  • Overnight halting fees

  • Parking charges

  • Toll taxes

  • State permit or entry charges

For local travel within Delhi, the fare structure is relatively straightforward. However, for outstation trips, additional costs such as Tempo Traveller state tax and tolls come into play. These charges are updated by state authorities periodically and may vary from state to state. Some states even impose extra surcharges on luxury or commercial vehicles.
