"Hi Allan, So glad you responded. I'm not in touch with Karen. In fact, I'm currently living in Atlanta (thank you, financial crisis of 2008/9) and still missing NYC dreadfully. But I started this blog, www.GermanyAtChristmas.com and if you visit it…"
"Hi Dave, Although my niche is Germany at Christmas rather than gay travel, I did drop by Munich's Pink Christmas last December. As I went early in the day it was kind of quiet, but I imagine it gets livelier later in the day. In fact, just looked at…"
I just looked at your website - wow! It's gorgeous and so well done. I have to get off my ass and develop one. I have one for health care, which has been my battle for the last three years. But that's a passion for change, not a money maker. My Mom had two strokes in hospital in 2009 and died just before Christmas 2010. So now I'm out to change things. I also stepped back from work for a couple of years.
Now I'm working to get back at it. I did run into Karen on a trip to Orlando. That must have been five years ago. I didn't recognize her at first because she had legs - Florida = shorts, not bundled up to our noses.
That trip we did - we had Tom Bross from Boston (you thought his German was awful), you, Karen, oh and Megan the Vegan! Remember her? Funny thing - I have an editor in California who was on a German trip last December and Megan was on it!!! Christ, she hated Germany, so why go back?

Hi Joy,
How funny - just within the last two weeks I was thinking about you, Karen and that trip. Are you still in touch with Karen? What are you up to?
Stay well,
Allan
