"Cleveland is definitely underrated. Weather tends to be very nice spring through early fall. University Circle is often overlooked but it is home to the Cleveland Orchestra, Cleveland Art Museum, and other outstanding cultural institutions. Plus…"
Hi Brooke! I almost went up to DC for the Stewart/Colbert rally but I'd just gotten back from a trip and it was too much. But as a Georgetown grad and someone who actually likes DC as a city, I'm looking forward to coming back soon in '11, and it would be great to have coffee or lunch or something. Where are you off to next?
Good afternoon, Brooke, and welcome to Tripatini! Great to have you with us -- and we think you'll find our site productive as well as interesting and enjoyable.
To get the most out of us, you may want to take a moment to join several of our many groups which you may find of particular interest, such as Media Only, Eating/Drinking the World, United Kingdom, France, Greece, Egypt, Virginia, Washington DC, our Spanish, French, and German language/culture clubs, and plenty of others covering many topics and most destinations across the U.S. and the globe.
FYI, on your profile you'll see a green bar marked "Text Box," which you can turn into a box containing not just text but also photos and even videos about yourself, your interests, your travels, and your writing/outlets.
Finally, if you would, please be so kind as to spread the word among your travel-interested friends, family, colleagues, associates, and readers. It's fast and easy to use our "INVITE" function above left on the navigation bar to enter e-mails (even your whole list at once!). If you have any opportunity to cover us in any of your outlets, that would of course be most appreciated, and if you're interested in occasionally blogging for us, guidelines/rates are available upon request.
Thanks for joining us, Brooke; we wish you an outstanding rest of 2009 and look forward to seeing you online.
