I've never written about Norway, though I've been there half a dozen times. I have relatives there, so my visits are pretty much to see loved ones. I can say, however, that this country is gorgeous beyond belief, and kayaking the fjords would be FANTASTIC. You can find outfitters all along the coast. Google it, and you'll find an English option on most websites. You also will be among the most athletic people in the world, so you should feel at home. My relatives rave about cruises up the coast. It's by far the easiest way to travel there. Check out hurtigruten.com. My experience is no farther north than Bergen. From Bergen south to Sandnes is the renowned fjord country. But to see the arctic, you obviously want to go north from Tromso. Check out the cruises if you want to go that way. Beyond that, just poking around the fjords from Bergen south will make you want to stay there forever. One word of caution: Everything is expensive, so if that's an issue, you may want to stick with the kayak idea and forget the cruise. Have fun. Let me know how it goes.
