Not a marketplace but rather one of the world's largest volunteer-travel providers, coordinating placements with local organizations. As of 2026 it offers more than 300 projects in 50 countries, generally lasting from one to 24 weeks, covering conservation, teaching, childcare, construction, community development and medical work, among other fields. Its appeal lies in convenience and structure: accommodation and often meals are bundled into program fees, with pre-departure assistance and in-country support. Programs can start at around US$20 per day, making IVHQ relatively accessible. More than 160,000 people have participated since its founding in 2007.
