Mount Vernon, the estate of the USA´s first president

Books, manuscripts, clothing, surveying equipment and other belongings of George Washington are among the artifacts on display at Mount Vernon, overlooking the Potomac River just 15 minutes Alexandria, northern Virginia. In keeping with the goal of the collections to personalize the human side of presidents, the dentures that he wore also are on display.
