Yes. The privacy and togetherness you get in a villa is by far better than having your group in separate rooms and having a "communal" gathering spot. Depending on location most have private pools, daily maid - even a cook (or all-inclusive plan). In my case there is always a property manager or, in some cases the owner, who is there to answer your questions and attend to your needs. This can be comforting to those who are a little "afraid" of being in a foreign country and thinking they're left to fend for themselves.
