Miami Beach - and South Beach in particular - are famed worldwide for extensive strands; wonderful dining; exciting nightlife; and great shopping. But across the causeways, mainland Miami is packed with much the same (well, not beaches), along with a nice dollop of culture (especially museums and performing arts), history, and ecotourism in areas including downtown, Coral Gables, Little Havana, the Everglades, and Coconut Grove (and here don't don't miss the fabulous seafood at the Bayshore Club). A truly superb combination of the romantic and the exciting!
