I have a Davis & Sanford.
It is heavy but really tough. I hike into some rough areas and it needs to withstand brutal abuse.
Their tripods are well built, I have had mine for three years and lugged it all over these mountains in WV.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a good tripod? Going to Uyuni Salar in March. Planning to take photos with Nikon D5000, which is heavy.

Help! I just bought an Elph, I want to transfer some photos to my PC, and the instruction manual doesn't tell me how to remove the black cover that hides the port for the cable. Do you know how to do it?

We are in he fortunate position to be touring the South West of America, specifically Utah and Arizona....this is one of the many wonders, A Slot Canyon which is formed by swirling flood waters in the desert that carve these amazing shapes and colours.
