My site is starting to get a lot of traffic, and I'd like to keep the momentum going by inviting some of my photography acquaintances to submit Photos of the Day for the regions I cover on artist-at-large.com.
Photos of the Day do not have to be taken that day. The category description is:
"Pulling photographs out of my portfolio and telling the story about when, where, how, and/or why I took them. There’s a story behind everything …"

Each region represented on the site has it's own Submission Guidelines, which, yes, are all pretty much the same. There is a form on the Submission pages to make submitting easier, but you can also submit by email. I do require some words to go with submission, just a few. To find the regions I cover, just go to the front page where they are listed: artist-at-large.com. The link to the Submission pages are in the headers or in the sidebars of the regional blogs.
Images should be low resolution and 400 pixels wide.
Photos are curated for artistic quality and may or may not be accepted.
I'm looking for good compositions with a great sense of place. I'm not looking for snapshots.
