Digital camera

Hi there

 

I need to invest in a digital camera to get photographs for our new online magazine for Zanzibar. I'm thinking good mid-range, that will allow me to get reasonably high definition video for web broadcast also. I wondered about the Panasonic LX3 http://www.dpreview.com/news/0807/08072102panasoniclx3.asp , does anyone have any experience of using this camera or can recommend an alternative that they have found to be really good?

    Hi Anil,

    Great, thanks, I will check that one out. I probably won't have access to a serious camera store in the short term because of being based in Zanzibar, so unfortunately it's unlikely I will have the luxury of checking out cameras in person before ordering one, which isn't ideal. Cameras can be quite a personal thing, and what works for one person won't always for the next.

    Still, I may just have to take a bit of a gamble on one and hope it works out for the best!
