What do you wear to Seven Magic Mountains?

Seven Magic Mountains is an art installation located in the Nevada desert, and the weather can be quite hot and dry. Therefore, it is recommended to wear comfortable and breathable clothing, such as shorts, t-shirts, and sandals or sneakers. You may also want to bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen to protect yourself from the sun. It's also a good idea to bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated. • I found this hidden on my external hard drive: Babcock State Park overlook, WV.

  • Oh yes, fall in West Virginia rivals anything in New England and eclipses the offerings of many other states.

  • However, Carnifex Ferry State Park in WV also lends itself well for photos...

  • However, along the same vein of sharing fall foliage photos, this is one taken along a highway in WV between Haarper's Ferry and Cass.  I don't make it back East near as much as I'd like so I am limited with locations.  I was born and raised in Ohio and miss the fall a great deal.  I'll take some of these photos out to look at when I feel particularly wistful about not having real trees where I live.  This is an unedited shot so please forgive the darkness...

  • Lovely shots, Nancy!
  • 9010762299?profile=originalBiloxi, MS, has some pretty nice landscape as well - taken November 2010.
  • 9012325497?profile=originalThis grist mill in Clifton, OH, also has some beautiful scenery, though this was taken in the summer last year.
  • Neglected to mention - the photo below is one taken in French Lick, WV.  The DNR has a small zoo there.
  • I have some others, not high quality, but there to showcase the fall foliage...  Lovely state, West Virginia...
