Tripadvisor's Perplexing Poll / London

London is the most exciting city in Europe, but it's also the most overrated.

London is also one of three European cities with the friendliest cab drivers, but it's also among the three cities with the rudest cab drivers.

How seriously do you take what you see on Tripadvisor?

    I look at trip advisor but opinions are likes bums - everyone's got one. And travellers can't always be objective - they/we get tired, lonely, irritable, hungry, impatient - all the human defects that put a bad slant on things - but then again, some places, things, attractions, accommodations etc are sometimes/somewhere less than fabulous.

    ha ha ha, really? that's funny. I guess that's the thing with reviews of places - they are so subjective. One persons hell is another's dream location.

    I read recent comments on Tripadvisor to see if a place I've written about or going to soon is rated good or bad. I try to read at least 10 deep to get a cross section and yes, I take them seriously
