The website http://notesfortheroad.com/ has recently launched, which offers new writers & bloggers a chance to showcase their work and sites, while also earning the ad revenue that their articles earn.
Contributions aren't paid, so it won't be for everyone, but if you're looking to get some more exposure and broaden your portfolio, it might be of interest.
