Mt. Marcy Summit in One Day

| Photojournalist will be hiking the highest point (5,344 ft) in New York State. - Mt. Marcy, September 21-23, 2012.
Trip will include staying at the Adirondack Mountain Club (ADK) bunkhouse at Adirondack Loj, and traversing the 7-mile Van Hoevenberg Trail, High Peaks Wilderness Area, New York, gaining 3600 feet of elevation gain and returning in the same day. The journey is steep, rocky and demanding.
