Mexico Meetings Business Increases

"Mexico's Meeting, Incentives, Congress, and Exhibitions business continues to grow..." eTurbo News reports that "the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA). Mexico moved up five (5) places in the 2010 rankings from its 2009 ranking of 27th, in the number of events with a nearly 31 percent increase in meetings held in Mexico."

    This is hardly surprising at all: North American meeting planners know there are great values are in Mexico, and that none of the regions that are prime venues for meetings are in the areas considered dangerous. In fact, Smart Meeting Magazine has just expanded its coverage to include Mexico.
