I just learned that positions have opened for a content editor (for FoodTrekker.com), a global coaching director (for both FoodTrekker and ICTA, overseeing sales, marketing and service) and a marketing intern.
Applicants may be based anywhere in the world. See this page for details of the work and to submit applications online: http://www.culinarytourism.org/link.asp?ymlink=408715&finalurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Eculinarytourism%2Eorg%2F%3Fpage%3Dworkforus

This isn't slander, this is fact-finding. Reporting.
I couldn't imagine ghost-writing, which is what I do, without being paid, so I'm pleased to see travel writers call out publishers who want you to "donate" free content and editing.
Ed -- His work for free business plan is not on the website. I found out -- via an extensive email about his integrity and yada yada -- after applying for the senior editor position.
Worse -- this guy had the unmitigated gall to accuse me of slandering him and his business plan when I responded to his rejection of paid work and his offer instead to work for him for free that -- no -- I don't work for free.
Nothing is paid. Not the Senior Content Editor position, not the 'global coaching director', and not any submissions. This is all for "visibility" to help us gain "exposure" for our work and help us "build our careers". Sounds like this guy wants to be the next HuffPo.
Makes me wonder about the standards and 'integrity' of his ICTA. Enough said. I don't want to be accused of slander again. Or libel.
