Frommer’s has been America’s most popular guidebook series since 1957. We consider our authors our partners, and we encourage them to write in a personal, highly opinionated manner about the destination being covered. We are looking for an author with expertise in Copenhagen (preferably one who is based there) to update a guidebook.

If you are working in Copenhagen, or know any reporters/writers who are currently living there, please contact us. And don’t hesitate to share this posting with colleagues and journalism listservs. The work, on this relatively short book, will start immediately and is due by the end of January. The author will be updating information on hotels, restaurants, attractions, nightlife, shopping and local culture and history. He or she will also work with our cartographers to help create maps; and consult with our photo editors on image choices.

Please do not write us if you don't spend at least 5 months a year in Copenhagen. We pride ourselves on hiring local experts, so this shouldn't be seen as a "travel opportunity", we really want someone who is embedded in the community.
