Fodor's Travel is looking for writers for the upcoming edition of our Texas guidebook, specifically concerning the following regions:
-San Antonio

-Forth Worth

-Houston

-South Texas (with South Padre Island and Corpus Christi)

-West Texas 

-The Panhandle

Fodor's is a leading guidebook brand for American travelers with more than 300 titles covering most corners of the globe (www.fodors.com).

If you are working in the above areas, or know any reporters/writers who are currently living there, please be in touch. Feel free to pass this request on to friends, colleagues, and journalism listservs. Please note that we hire journalists who have local expertise, i.e. most writers work in the specific country/region or live there at least part of the year. We're looking to make assignments now and assignments are due back by the end of August. Topics include sights, restaurants, hotels, nightlife, the arts, sports and shopping.
